We’re entering a pivotal scale-up phase and looking for a creative force to help define our next era, to bring style, taste, vision, and creative execution to our expanding team.
Who You Are:
The Senior Brand Creative is the soul of Ripton’s creative output, the creative director of content, marketing and web, you will be in charge of further pushing and refining what the Ripton visual identity looks and feels like. This role owns the visual direction, content tone, and campaign storytelling across all channels. You’ll lead both our in house content shoots as well as a larger network of contract graphic design, web design, photography and video. As well as directly manage and guide our in house social media and content manager — bringing cohesion, beauty, and meaning to every touchpoint.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Creative Direction: Lead visual and conceptual development of brand campaigns, product launches, and seasonal storytelling.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor in-house creatives — including graphic design, social content, and copy functions.
- Asset Development: Oversee photoshoots, content creation, and marketing asset production for web, email, print, retail, and social.
- Brand Consistency: Evolve and uphold Ripton’s brand guidelines across all channels — ensuring every asset is unmistakably us.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product, our athlete team and marketing to bring ideas to life with precision and soul.
- Vendor & Talent Coordination: Work with freelance photographers, stylists, and videographers as needed.
- Creative Strategy: Contribute to creative testing and campaign effectiveness — measuring what moves the needle.
- Marketing Team Collaboration: Partner with departmental counterpart to execute go-to-market plans, leverage sponsored athletes, support event activations, and empower overall Jarketing efforts with strong visuals.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 5–8+ years of experience in brand, content, or creative roles, ideally at a consumer brand or agency
- Strong portfolio of storytelling campaigns, content, or art direction
- Deep understanding of visual identity, photography, video, typography, and layout
- Exceptional taste, with the ability to translate culture into creative
- Experience leading or mentoring junior creatives
- Collaborative and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Passionate about outdoor culture, bikes, denim, or doing things differently
- Bonus Points
- Experience working in DTC or fashion/apparel
- Photography or video production chops
- Background in brand strategy or campaign planning
