An update to our edgiest jort ever, the Black Acid Jorts are new and improved. We lengthened the women's inseam so that you can roll, cut, or modify them to your optimal length, or leave them longer so they stay in place better on the bike and don't ride up. We have these in house, in stock, and they won't last long. While everyone else is raising prices, Ripton is working hard to bring our prices down to serve the dirt bag the wanderer, the people. Now available up to a women's size 33.

New staple

I ran across a recommendation for these jorts in a cycling blog and they have not disappointed. They’re my new go-to!

I do love these jorts! The stretch is primo. Graphic is rad. The only thing I don't love is the fact that I don't have curves,,, I'm more of a solid rectangle, so I find only the waistband a little snug. Prob order from the dudes side next time. #rectangulargirlprobs

Incredibly comfortable

The first pair I ordered were the wrong size - Ripton was GREAT at handling the exchange. Super easy to handle. When I got my replacement pair, though, I’ll make a confession: I was really scared when I was putting them on. I don’t have a flat tummy and I’ve spent a lot of my life feeling bad about it and now getting to where I think “you know? who cares!” so I have a love/hate relationship with high waists: no muffintop, but sometimes it’s too restrictive/cuts in. As in, lots of high waisted jeans fit absolutely perfectly until I button the top and then I realize oh no. I’m going to have this cutting into my tummy all day. Not so with Ripton. Once they were actually on, they loosened up just enough so they fit perfectly but weren’t constricting or uncomfortable. But they’re ALSO not loosening up that you get the sensation you sometimes get with clothing that does so (as in, they’ve loosened but they’re not now TOO loose). Just really nice to wear. I love them!

Fast and Rad

I love my jorts! I am 5’7” usually wearing a 27, but sized up to 28 and they are perfect! Will be purchasing again, the stoke is high.

Sooooo Good!!

Ordered a size up from my normal size since I wanted to be able to wear a chamois underneath and these are perfect!!

Love! Love! Love!

Third pair of jorts. Have worn them all summer long riding MTB in Western NC. With and without liners. Actually more comfortable than all my other shorts (yeti, zoic, troy lee) because those are usually baggie and catch on stuff in order to be comfy. My jorts sit right against my skin and just seem to stretch when I need it. Plus they just look WAY BETTER than other MTB shorts.

“Mom, you look rad!”

They got my 8-year old daughter’s stamp of approval. They look and feel rad! Get ‘em while you can. I’m 5’9”, in the 145-150# range and I normally wear size 6/28, but I ordered 29 for the next to skin, not compression fit. The bottoms of the leg openings are a bit loose on me, but work great rolled. I definitely have room for a chamois. 11/10 on the radness scale!!!
