Position: Warehouse Associate
Location: Boulder, CO
Type: Contract starting $20/hr
Time: Mon-Fri, 15-36 hr/wk

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient order fulfillment, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, and providing excellent customer service. Your role will involve picking and packing orders, processing returns, managing inventory, and handling various warehouse tasks with accuracy and attention to detail. You will work directly with the Warehouse Coordinator and Warehouse Associates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick and pack orders with precision and urgency
  • Fulfill wholesale and pre-orders accurately
  • Process returns and handle products efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment from shelf to workspace
  • Manage supplies and shipping materials to prevent interruptions in order fulfillment
  • Perform computer tasks such as inventory management, creating and receiving transfers, fulfilling pre-orders, resolving shipping issues and answering customer emails
  • Complete repetitive tasks with an exceptional focus on detail
  • Receive and process palletized shipments with the warehouse team
  • Assist walk-in customers with pickups, questions, shopping and purchasing
  • Multitask effectively during busy periods and maintain performance during slower times
  • Continuously communicate, problem-solve, and seek efficiencies in warehouse operations in a team-oriented manner

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory handling and shipping is required
  • Experience in customer service, Shopify and POS inventory systems is preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes up to 50lbs as required
  • Strong attention to detail, team-oriented, and open to feedback and improvement
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and maintaining effectiveness under varying workload conditions

Although the warehouse is one of the more systematic areas of the business, there is opportunity for other ad-hoc operational and/or marketing projects in time, as well as growth in areas of logistics, product, supply chain and more.
