A Belgian friend recently told us that Dominique Powers is "the" up and coming photographer in cycling and outdoor. Growing up between Middlebury, Vermont and Steamboat, Colorado, and presiding in the bike chic culture capital of Los Angeles, Dominique x Ripton felt like it needed to happen. We wrangled some fun friends and photographed a lot of our fall / winter items in the office and around Boulder.
Shai Guy only skis in workwear, jeans or canvas, and only skis on straight skis. Things need to be old, classic and timeless for Shai. He's hard to miss, and he always says, fitting in is the last thing he's trying to do. Shai turned 38 on this shoot day. Here Shai is pictured in the Regulator Vest and Shop Jorts.
Nick is from Longmont, Colorado and shreds BMX! Nick's wearing the Shop Jorts in size 33.
Alyssa is an up and coming cyclist, advocate for BIPOC access and representation in outdoor, and has a really rad turbo vibe, she looks so cool in the Ripton Regulator Vest and Indigo Joggers. Nathalie, is a friend of Ripton's and can often be found shredding gravel. She's in the Women's Diesel Overalls, which we're almost sold out in Mediums of.
Betsy Welch, is "the" writer in cycling right now, as far as we can tell. Her kind and thoughtful nature builds prose with impact and her words on gravel, having fun, and cycling as a whole, have reverberated throughout the bike industry this season. Betsy is rocking the Ripton Indigo Jogger in XS.
