A stronger, more classic denim jort, built from 11 oz. Cone denim. Please size up 1 or 2 sizes for a proper progressive fit. Includes hammer loop and aero phone pocket. Wear to loosen, wash to tighten. After working with so many hybrid fabrics we wanted to find a denim fabric and wash that optimized for wash characteristics and looked and felt the most Americana denim as possible. Using the American denim producer Cone was the best way to do this, in this limited edition everyday shop oriented jort for your summer 2022. We've been ripping in ours. #lifeisjort

I really like how they fit on my thighs, I ordered up 2 sizes after reading other reviews, but my waist is wayyyy to big, so kind of a bummer. But I really enioy the material, length, and fit on my thighs.
Sizing/fit is way off and non-returnable/exchangable
I sized up as directed and the fit is way off. I suspect this is why they are being sold as a non-returnable sale item. Nothing to love.
Size up advice rings true!
Thank you to all the reviewers who seconded sizing up. I'm a 28, ordered a 30. Fit like a glove in the butt, but not too tight - chamois fit great. First thing I did was cut and sew some button holes in the inner lining of the waistband to put in a drawstring (I'm sorry if this is sacrilege). Other reviews warned me of The Gap, so I was prepared for this issue. They are now PERFECT. The length is long enough to execute the impossible - having length AND flattery.
I had to size two up (normally a 28 but went for a 30). It fits well in the legs and hips but gapes a bit in the waist. Still super cute.
AMAZING PERFORMANCE JORTS, I FEEL SO SHREDDY IN THEM
These jorts rule. One shred in them already and I can’t wait for more. The website said to order two sizes up from normal jorts… in my other Ripton Diesel’s a size 30 fits great, so I got a 32 in these. They fit a little large in the waist, but well in the hips and ever so slightly loose in the thighs which I love. I probably could have gotten away with a 31.
Somewhat strange fit but I love them anyway!
I usually wear a 26 or 27 in Ripton so I sized up to a 29. These fit great through the hips and thighs (with enough wiggle room for my biking legs), however, I have quite a gap in the waist. This actually makes them really comfortable but might not be for everyone. I love the length and the phone pocket is EXCEPTIONAL. I'd love this to be on every short.
Great suggestions on sizing and awesome fit!
Snug but comfortable
These definitely run small. I normally wear size 28 in denim and ordered these in 30. They fit and are pretty comfortable but I don’t think they’ll fit with a chamois. I ordered them to wear cycling but will only be able to use them for casual wear. I decided to keep them for casual wear. Pros: comfortable fit for casual wear. Cons: run small, not enough room for cycling chamois even when you size up. It would be great if the company sized them correctly especially given their intended use. I’d give them 1 star rating for cycling use and 4 stars for casual wear.
I’m in love
This is my third pair of Ripton Jorts and I love them. They’re comfy, cute, and so functional. The huge phone pocket is incredible and the Velcro above the zipper helps to keep everything nice and tucked. I recommend these shorts to pretty much everybody. 10796/10. I would go ahead and size up one or two sizes like the rest of the reviews suggest otherwise it’d be a little snug.
Love my jorts
So happy I tried out jorts this summer - finally found shorts that fit my athletic body and are comfortable biking, hiking or doing anything really. They break in easily and the stretch is just right. I now own 3 pairs!
