Marketing Content Creator


Ripton is a small, fast moving, performance-denim brand. We are scrappy, rebellious, rough-around-the-edges and perpetually content-driven. We are looking for a content creator/marketing manager, digital jack of all trades, who has the technical skills, creative vision, and passion to build on our brand and to catapult us into another galaxy of visual awesomeness.

What you’ll do:
Content Creation and Editing
  • Create best-in-class photo assets in a range of environments
  • Edit photos and develop Lightroom presets for consistent brand imagery
  • Build creative briefs to communicate objectives and mission for outside photographers and videographers.
  • Travel to be on-set at key shoots to ensure the vision comes to life
Social Media Management
  • Collaboratively develop, maintain, and implement a social media publishing calendar to create enthusiasm around the brand, product, and lifestyle
  • Manage the response and engagement with user-generated comments and #jontent to foster personalized brand experiences
  • Assess and report on social media performance data to improve engagement
Content Planning
  • Build and manage relationships with a diverse network of athletes and influencers to expand Ripton’s reach
  • Participate in a story-sourcing and content planning process to curate brand-relevant content for use in an omni-channel storytelling experience
  • Manage a budget to support storytelling content and related travel
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments partners to ensure seamless strategic alignment and flawless execution
Experience You Bring:
  • Minimum two years experience in photography, photo editing, and videography with a focus on social media or content creation
  • Photo, video, or digital post-production experience is a must
  • Extensive experience with social platforms including Instagram and TikTok
  • Strong writing and grammar skills with the ability to produce copy in the brand’s voice
  • Proven time management and project management skills with the ability to independently prioritize and de-prioritize on a daily basis
  • Experienced and capable of operating in various digital platforms, tools and software
  • Ability to gather and interpret data, test and iterate, understand what’s meaningful and translate that into actions, improvements, and results
  • Prior experience performing within a collaborative, team-based work structure and process
  • Technical skills using lightroom, photoshop and video editing software (Final Cut or Premiere)


$50k-65k depending on experience. 
-Including meaningful equity ownership accrued over time
